A GIA Graduate Jeweler, Tim works primarily as a caster for Green Lake, that role which demands equal parts science and magic to get wax molds into perfectly solid pieces in noble metal. With a formal training in finishing and setting at the bench, he can visualize issues in casting early on to make adjustments and maintain a consistently precise casting process.
Tim’s start in jewelry began with him trying to make chainmail many years ago. He taught himself different weaves and progressed from cheap fence wire, to stainless steel, aluminum, and eventually silver.
