A native of Bulgaria, Vesko inherits a centuries-old tradition of mastery in fine jewelry making from the National School of Applied Arts in Sophia, where he was formally trained as a Goldsmith. To say Vesko specializes in hand engraving is a bit of an understatement; he is one of the most skilled engravers in the United States, studying the work of Nimschke, Kornbarth, and Lynton McKenzie for decades to acquire his increasingly rare ability. At Green Lake, Vesko is the consummate jeweler, applying skills in hand-fabrication, setting, and a specialized technique of relief engraving that makes his pieces distinctly unique.
