Claudio describes his father as one of his greatest sources of inspiration. In fact, he was so inspired that he actually followed in the same trade that his father and grandfather excelled in. He is a third-generation stone setter and began his professional career at the age of 14 in his home country, Italy. From 1987 to 2018 he worked for a variety of high-end jewelers including Bulgari, Cartier, and Damiani. During these 30+ years he’s continued to hone and perfect his craft which is visible in his beautiful benchwork. His two favorite stones are an emerald and an Old European Cut diamond, which he describes setting both as quite a task, but ultimately his favorite part of his job.

Beyond the bench, Claudio enjoys riding his bike and building model boats. He loves his job, his friends, and of course, Italian food. Molto Bene!
